Location: Remote in Idaho and Texas (statewide)

Pay Rate: Compensation of up to $120 per hour, with additional performance-based bonuses reflective of your experience and specialized skills.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Counselor/therapist/psychologist or Training Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide confidential counseling services to our clients, addressing personal and professional challenges, and also lead workshops and training sessions on a wide range of mental health and wellness topics. You will play a key role in helping clients develop the mental health tools they need to succeed, while also delivering impactful, evidence-based training programs to enhance organizational well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Counseling:

  • Provide confidential, short-term counseling to individuals and families, addressing a range of personal and relational challenges including stress, anxiety, conflict, life transitions, and emotional regulation.
  • Offer solution-focused coaching and support to help clients build coping skills, improve communication, and enhance emotional resilience.
  • Develop and implement individualized action plans that empower clients to manage mental health concerns, strengthen relationships, and improve overall well-being.
  • Connect clients with appropriate community resources or long-term care providers when additional support is needed.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of counseling sessions in accordance with ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards.

Training & Workshop Facilitation need for only Group instructor

  • Teach court-ordered classes for individuals involved in the legal system, focusing on topics such as anger management, impulse control, decision-making, and behavioral change.
  • Develop and lead training sessions on court-ordered program content and facilitate workshops on workplace wellness topics, including stress management, burnout prevention, emotional intelligence, mental health first aid, and effective communication.
  • Customize training materials to meet the needs of court systems, probation departments, and diverse workplace environments, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and organizational goals.
  • Deliver engaging, interactive sessions both virtually and in person for court-referred clients, employees, and organizational leaders.
  • Evaluate program and training effectiveness through participant feedback, surveys, and outcome measures; make ongoing improvements to ensure relevance, impact, and engagement.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Collaborate closely with court officials, probation officers, and case managers to understand client needs and ensure compliance with mandated program requirements.
  • Partner with employers, HR departments, and organizational leaders to tailor behavioral health programs, trainings, and reporting that align with both legal obligations and workplace expectations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for court-referred individuals and employees seeking support, guidance, or progress documentation related to mandated services.
  • Actively contribute to organizational wellness initiatives and support mental health goals through cross-functional teamwork and evidence-based practices.
  • Stay current on legal, clinical, and industry standards, including best practices in court-ordered treatment, behavioral health interventions, and employee wellness programming.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Licensed counselor (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or similar) in good standing with relevant state licensing boards.
  • 1+ years of experience providing counseling, coaching, or therapy services, preferably within group experience or corporate setting.
  • Experience designing and facilitating training programs and workshops on mental health and workplace wellness topics.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse employee populations.
  • Empathy and cultural competency, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care and discretion.
  • Proficiency with virtual platforms for conducting online counseling sessions and facilitating virtual workshops (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
  • Passion for helping others and a genuine desire to contribute to the mental health and well-being of employees.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Mental Health First Aid, or similar professional credentials.
  • Experience with wellness program implementation and employee engagement strategies.
  • Background in organizational development or leadership coaching.
