Court-ordered classes that meet Texas requirements
MindLift Academy offers fully online, self-paced court-ordered classes accepted by Texas courts — including anger management, substance abuse education, domestic violence intervention, parenting classes, and conflict resolution. Every program is designed to meet the documentation standards required by Texas family courts and criminal courts, and each certificate includes the program description, facilitator credentials, completion date, and hours required for court submission.
Our court-ordered programs serve clients from across the Dallas-Fort Worth metro and beyond — including Collin, Dallas, Denton, Tarrant, and surrounding counties. We understand that the process of meeting a court requirement can be stressful and time-sensitive. Our goal is to make it as straightforward as possible: enroll online, complete the course at your own pace, and receive your certificate immediately upon completion. If you have questions about which program satisfies your specific order, call us at (972) 855-8183 before enrolling and we’ll help you choose correctly.
All MindLift Academy court-ordered programs are facilitated by licensed mental health professionals credentialed through the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council. This matters because some courts require anger management and domestic violence programs to be delivered by licensed clinicians, not just certified coaches. Our programs meet that higher standard, giving you confidence that your completion certificate will be accepted without question.
Court-ordered class FAQ
Are your classes accepted by Texas courts?
Yes. Our court-ordered programs are designed to meet Texas family court and criminal court requirements. We provide official documentation and certificates upon completion that you can submit directly to your probation officer, attorney, or court clerk. Our certificates include the program title, description, facilitator name and credentials, completion date, and total hours — the documentation standards most commonly required by Texas courts. If your court has specific formatting requirements, call us and we can accommodate them.
How long does a course take?
Course length varies by program. Anger management is available in 4-hour, 8-hour, 12-hour, 16-hour, and longer formats depending on your court order. Substance abuse education, domestic violence intervention, and parenting classes vary in length as well. All courses are fully self-paced — you can complete the coursework in one sitting or spread it across multiple sessions, stopping and resuming at any time. There is no deadline imposed by the platform; your court-imposed deadline governs your timeline.
Can I start a class right away?
Yes. Once you enroll and payment is processed, you have immediate access to your course materials. There is no waiting period, no approval process, and no scheduling required. Most clients are in their first module within minutes of enrollment. If you are working against a court deadline, we recommend enrolling as soon as possible — self-paced does not mean unlimited time, and you need to complete the program before your deadline to avoid legal consequences.
What happens when I finish?
You’ll receive a digital certificate of completion immediately upon finishing the final assessment. The certificate is available for download and printing from your account dashboard at any time. We can also prepare official court documentation on your behalf — a formal completion letter on MindLift Academy letterhead with all necessary details for court submission. Contact us after completing your course and we’ll prepare the documentation in the format most appropriate for your jurisdiction.
What if I need a specific number of hours that isn’t listed?
Many courts order specific hour requirements that don’t always correspond to standard program lengths. Call us at (972) 855-8183 with your court order in hand, and we’ll help you identify the combination of programs that satisfies your total required hours. In some cases, we can customize documentation to reflect a specific hour requirement if your court order specifies an unusual number. We work with clients and their attorneys regularly to ensure documentation is court-ready.
Do you offer in-person classes?
Our primary format is fully online and self-paced, which most clients find convenient and prefer over in-person scheduling. We do occasionally offer live instructor-led classes — contact us at (972) 855-8183 to ask about current live options. For clients whose court orders specifically require an in-person or live format, please confirm with your attorney or probation officer whether our online format satisfies that requirement before enrolling.
What if my attorney or probation officer has specific requirements?
Call us before enrolling. Provide us with a copy of your court order or describe the specific requirements, and our team will confirm that the program you’re considering meets them — or direct you to the correct program if it doesn’t. We work with attorneys, probation officers, and court clerks regularly and understand the documentation standards for most Texas courts. Getting the right program from the start is far easier than trying to substitute documentation after the fact.
Is my participation confidential?
Your personal information is kept confidential in accordance with HIPAA and applicable Texas privacy laws. We only release documentation to courts, probation officers, or attorneys with your written authorization. We never share your enrollment or completion information with your employer, family members, or any third party without your explicit written consent. The only exception is if we are required to release information by a court order or subpoena — in which case we would notify you in advance if legally permitted to do so.
What types of court-ordered classes do you offer?
We offer anger management (multiple hour formats), substance abuse education, domestic violence intervention (for defendants and court-directed participants), parenting and co-parenting classes, and conflict resolution. We also offer continuing education for licensed mental health professionals through MindLift Academy. See our online classes page for the complete current catalog with pricing and enrollment links.
