About Course
This course examines ethical standards, professional responsibilities, and best practices related to the delivery of telehealth services in counseling and behavioral health settings. Participants will explore ethical considerations including confidentiality, informed consent, professional boundaries, cultural competence, risk management, and documentation in virtual care.
Emphasis is placed on ethical decision-making, scope of practice, and practical strategies to support effective and compliant telehealth service delivery. This course does not include medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, or involuntary decision-making.
