About Course
This 3-hour Clinical Skills continuing education course is designed to strengthen counselors’ applied competencies in treatment planning and case conceptualization. Participants will learn structured methods for organizing assessment data into cohesive case formulations that directly inform goal development, intervention selection, and clinical documentation.
Emphasis is placed on practical counseling skills, ethical decision-making, cultural responsiveness, and evidence-informed practice within the professional counseling scope. Through applied case examples and guided frameworks, participants will enhance their ability to create effective, client-centered treatment plans and adjust them based on clinical progress. This course does not include medical diagnosis, prescribing, or treatment.
