Court-Ordered Classes and Court-Accepted Education Programs in Texas

MindLift Alliance offers a full range of court-ordered and court-accepted educational programs designed to meet legal requirements and provide clients with practical skills for long-term behavioral change. Our classes meet the general standards required by Texas courts, probation departments, attorneys, social workers, CPS, and community programs. Certificates of completion are provided at the end of each course.

Our programs are available online and in-person for clients seeking flexible scheduling and a supportive learning experience. Each class is taught by qualified professionals using evidence-based approaches.

All classes are available in two formats:

  2. Live Virtual Classes upon request

Certificates of completion are issued after all required hours are finished.

Cognitive Behavioral Life Skills

  • 4-Hour Life Skills
  • 8-Hour Life Skills
    This course teaches clients how to make practical, healthy decisions using Cognitive Behavioral strategies. Topics include personal responsibility, problem-solving, emotional awareness, and goal-oriented behavior.

Impulsive Behavior and Decision-Making

This class helps individuals understand impulsive thinking patterns and replace automatic reactions with thoughtful decision-making. Clients learn tools to slow down responses, evaluate consequences, and improve self-control.

Parenting and Co-Parenting Education

This course is structured for parents involved in divorce, custody cases, CPS involvement, or general court requirements. Topics include communication, child development, conflict management, boundaries, and co-parenting strategies.

Substance Abuse Education & Awareness

This educational program covers substance misuse, the impact on daily life, relapse prevention, and personal responsibility. It helps clients understand patterns related to substance use and develop safer behavioral habits.

Theft and Shoplifting Prevention

This class focuses on accountability, legal consequences, impulse control, financial responsibility, and decision-making pathways associated with theft-related behavior.

Trauma-Informed Care Education

This program helps clients understand how trauma influences thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. The course emphasizes emotional awareness, self-regulation, and safe coping strategies.
