Concerns and conditions Ella supports.
Ella’s training equips her to support clients across a wide range of mental health concerns and life transitions. Every treatment plan is individualized — built around your goals, your context, and the strengths you bring.
Anxiety
CBT and ACT are first-line evidence-based treatments for anxiety disorders. Ella combines cognitive restructuring, exposure, and mindfulness to help you live alongside anxiety rather than fight it.
Depression
CBT and behavioral activation are proven approaches for depression. Ella works with clients to shift unhelpful thought patterns, rebuild meaningful activity, and reconnect with what matters.
Trauma
Trauma can shape how we see ourselves, others, and the world. Ella draws on CBT and DBT skills to help clients build stabilization, regulate emotion, and find a path forward.
Self-Harm & Suicidal Ideation
Ella is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Suicide Prevention — a specialized, evidence-based protocol for clients experiencing suicidal thoughts, urges, or self-harm.
Couples & Relationships
Ella holds a Level 1 certification in the Gottman Method and works with couples on communication, connection, and conflict — as well as with individuals navigating relationship distress.
Social Skills Difficulties
For children, teens, and adults who struggle with social interaction, Ella uses skill-building, behavioral practice, and DBT-informed approaches to grow confidence and connection.

Growth, meaning, and flourishing — not just feeling better.
Positive psychology and a focus on flourishing inform much of Ella’s work. Beyond reducing harmful symptoms, she invites clients into a space of growth and personal exploration — toward a life that is meaningful, satisfying, and fulfilling.
Ella values creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. She takes a culturally humble stance in the therapeutic relationship and appreciates the opportunity to learn from each person she works with. Therapy with Ella is a partnership — one where evidence-based skills, your unique strengths, and what you most want for your life are all in the room together. Explore therapy services at MindLift →
